LDF participated in a follow-up meeting regarding the progress of NGOs and INGOs operating in District Ghotki.
The meeting was chaired by the Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Ghotki, and held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Ghotki, on 14th January 2025.

Additional Deputy Commissioner-II / Assistant Commissioner, visited the LDF Office and the School of LDF. The purpose of the visit was to review the activities of the Nutrition & Education Project, under the support of (IRC) & SEF. Mr. Qurban Ali, Chief Executive of LDF, briefed the ADC-II on the activities and progress of the Nutrition & Education Project.
Mr. Majid Hameed visited every classroom in the school, he observed ongoing lessons, interacted with students, and reviewed their notebooks and assignments to assess academic progress.
Special attention was given to students' understanding of core subjects, including Mathematics, English, and Science.
A meeting was held with the school administration to discuss the overall management of the institution. He extended his appreciation to the entire LDF team for their efforts and dedication.

Strengthening Local Civil Society and Community-based Organizations and their Capacity in the Nutrition Sector in Sindh
The Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) conducted the 2nd Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) . This assessment was facilitated by a third party, InterAct Consulting Pakistan, and took place at the LDF Office in Ghotki .

The Quarterly Board of Directors (BOD) meeting of LDF was held at the LDF office. The meeting was attended by BOD members and the core team. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing projects, including PPRS, ESSP, IELP, SIGN, and AALTP, to evaluate achievements, identify areas needing improvement, approve new initiatives, and address organizational matters to ensure improved performance and alignment with strategic goals.
During the meeting, several decisions were made by the BOD, including the approval of the LDF logo, the website, the newsletter, and the construction of additional infrastructure, such as classrooms, science labs, and computer labs.
