Introduction

LDF, has retained its status of registration under Societies Act-1860 and Sindh Charities Registration and Regulation Act, 2019 and the process is ongoing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Economic Affair Division (EAD) of Interior Ministry. MOU allows us to work with foreign organizations and avail foreign funding.

LDF was founded by Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Channa in 1996, LDF has evolved in 28 years, The Lanjari Development Foundation (LDF) is a non-profit organization committed to gender equality and humanitarian causes. Currently, LDF operates in five talukas of District Ghotki and has plans to expand its work to Districts Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana and Kashmore. LDF plays a significant role in advancing education in rural areas of Sindh by offering both formal and non-formal educational programs. Furthermore, they conduct community education awareness campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of education. Additionally, LDF is actively involved in various other sectors including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Climate Change, Nutrition, Agriculture, Solar and health. LDF also focus on empowering the disabled community through education and skill development initiatives.
